mom's visit...

this last week was a busy one. my mom came to visit us and we kept her so entertained that when she left today we both wondered where the time had gone. our activities included eating out at our favorite mexican restaurant "where the margaritas are as big as your head!", shopping for the upcoming wedding, rearranging art and redecorating the dining room, and of course supervising the tiling of the master bath. she was treated to matt's famous smoked ribs one night and on another occasion we shared appetizers and enjoyed after an dinner drink of keoki coffee at a swanky bar. and not only did we drag her all over our neighborhood with our evening speed walks, we also tested her frisbee skills at a frisbee disc course!! don't let her fool you, she's a pro! all in all it was a great visit and we look forward to her return...and dad can come too.
