today i went to my obgyn for my twenty eight week appointment. after passing my routine check up with flying colors, i reminded my doctor that we were heading to mexico next week. it was then that i received a very displeased look and was strongly discouraged from leaving the country, to mexico specifically. i was already aware of how she felt about our decision to go, and was hesitant to remind her at all, but in the end i figured that her permission would put my mind at ease.
she quickly gave me a second head to toe check and then put me on a heart monitor for forty five minutes just to be sure everything was perfect. thankfully everything was and i was given the go ahead to travel.
woohoo!! we're going to mexico baby!
