nesting...

i've been asked a lot lately if i've started nesting. what does that even mean? if nesting refers to either cleaning or organizing then i have been nesting my entire life. just ask any of my roommates growing up or even hubby. if i see anything out of place i usually remedy it immediately, dirt on the floor rarely stays there long, dirty dishes get cleaned right away, and don't even get me started on closets. closet organization is my FAVORITE! even if i can't get to something right away i make a mental note and get back to it as soon as i can. call it nesting or call it OCD, whatever it is i've had the instinct long before now.

however, even though matt is fully aware of my cleanliness/organizational needs, he too has asked me if my current actions are signs of nesting. hmmm...are people noticing something different that i'm not aware of? personally i think i just finally have the time to do those things on my list that i've been wanting to do for some time.

for example: check out my new clutter free spice racks and baking cupboard.

i wish i had a before picture because the top photo is the cupboard that used to house ALL of our spices. it was so crowded one could barely find what one was looking for and now we can see everything at a glance. again i wouldn't call that nesting, but if that's what we're gonna call it then that's awesome! that means that i am right on track to having this baby any day. right?

Yet I always knew where they were on the Spinny thing that held all the bottles. I guess it looks really "organized?" now though. Time to load up on new spices!!!

Looks great! Wish you lived close by to help me tackle my chaos. I am official "messy mommy".
But way to go! Hopefully baby will get those clean genes.

Lol, yeah, I can vouch for you on the clean roommate thing. Were you nesting in Baltimore? :)

Have fun with the nesting. From what I understand you're right on time. My mom made a bunch of apple pies for her nesting adventure. She was afraid my dad would starve while she was in the hospital. Good times.

Can't wait to see you!!!
