first timers...

this past weekend was filled with great times as we showed three first time visitors around our home town. grandpa milana, aunt emily, and uncle michael came for a few days of fun in the sun and ended up almost staying for good (that standby business can be tricky!). we are glad that they were able to make the trip, explore the phoenix area with us, share in some tasty food, and meet our adorable little jackson.

we took them hiking in papago park and climbed up to the hole in the rock for a view of the city. jackson was less than impressed with his first hiking adventure, i blame myself for not putting a hat on his bald head and dressing him in a long sleeve shirt when it was seventy five degrees. bad mama!

grandpa had fun bonding with jackson. they had several deep conversations and grandpa even found jackson's ticklish spots. tee hee!

we introduced them to frisbee golf, a favorite vater pastime. it was enjoyed by one and all...even got a smile out of michael!!

aunt emily got some snuggle time in with our boy.  he was a happy one in her arms.
