on the one hand i am so excited to get back into the real world. the world where i can sit by myself, go for a run whenever i want, read a book, enjoy a meal in a restaurant, and sleep in. the world where people talk in full sentences and drool on my shoulder is nonexistent.
on the other hand i am nervous about how jackson will adjust. i know he'll be fine. i know he is going to be in great hands. somehow knowing that doesn't make it any easier though. i know everything there is to know about him. i can tell you exactly what to do if he looks one way, cries another way, reaches, arches, smiles... how long will it be before those great hands i'm leaving him in knows? how long will he cry before he knows i'll be back?
i keep reminding myself that it will be good for all of us. i'll get the break i need, daddy will get to bond more with his son, and jackson will get spoiled rotten when i return.

Super cute necklace. Jackson has awesome taste!
Super sweet necklace! Good luck with the transition back to work. I always had mixed feelings when I went back after the first two girls, but it went smoothly both times, and the ability to eat out and have adult conversation was really pretty nice... :)
I love your banner photo, btw. Adorable!
