matt decided to insulate our water pipes today. i was eager to see our attic space, so i followed him up the ladder. nothing much to note up there. it was dirty and small. i didn't stay to help.
i did recall something from our childhood though. do you guys remember when we used to fence with those pipe covers in the basement? cheap hours of entertainment. do you know that it was YEARS before i knew what they were really used for?!! i am sure you are not surprised.

Those things could really do some damage if you swung hard enough! Ah memory lane...
I don't see any insulation in that attic. You need at least 12 inches or more up there. You can really save big money if that is at least R-38 rated. Dad
