my reaction to the "surprise" bathroom...

i read the blog prior to coming home, so i was fully prepared to find the bathroom and bedroom wall in disrepair. it currently remains the same as the pictures below, because replacing the mixing valve involves us buying bath fixtures. we found some on the internet, checked them out in person at a bath store, and will soon be ordering them. yeah!!

still on the list of things to do in the bathroom: find and order cabinets, fix lighting, install quiet exhaust fan, install tile, and refurbish our very pink bathtub.

half way there? perhaps not...
