matt and i have been eagerly awaiting our upcoming fishing trip. every day we check the weather conditions, the updates on osakis lake fishing, and the flight availability. none of these things really matter though, cuz we are gonna be there regardless.
i am especially excited because this is matt's first fishing vacation with the vaters! i've briefed him on what will most likely take place: dad will catch the one and only dog fish in the lake, mom will end up getting the biggest bass you'll ever see, james and the boys will be scoping out the best sun fish spot, and jen will crack open a beer at nine am...it is vacation after all.
i do have to warn our travel companions though. matt is a fierce fisherman and won't go down without a fight for the greatest catch. check out this website from the lodge that we stayed at last year with the milana's. matt, molly, and i made the cut!!

We go fishing all the time in the ponds around our house. . we SO need to go out together! Last week I caught a big ass bass, a turtle, a stick and some monster that snapped my line. I tell you, he was THIS BIG!!! :) Have fun fishing!
