playing in the snow...

i'm sure it's hard to believe, but the midwest isn't the only place getting snow. arizona snowbowl opened this saturday for the '08-'09 ski season. after matt read a glowing ski report, he decided we'd better check it out for ourselves. so we rented skis late saturday evening, packed up the car, and set our alarm to get up early in order to take full advantage of a day on the slopes.



once i learned how to ski again (for some reason each season i forget how to turn) we had a blast hitting all the trails...even the black diamonds! we left the mountain tired, sore, and happy. hopefully all the skiing this season will be as warm and fun!
