adios ugly flower bed...

mom and dad recently flew to arizona to spend some quality time with their favorite daughter and son-in-law (oops i wasn't supposed to say anything). besides relaxing and soaking up the eighty degree weather, their week was a filled with helping me fix up our house both inside and out. some projects were easy while others proved to be difficult and more time consuming. one of the major projects completed was removing the flower bed in front of the house. the tasks of replanting all the plants, digging out the dirt, knocking down the wall, hauling the blocks away, and putting up the posts extended over three days. the pictures are proof that it was well worth it!


all we have to do now is pick out colors, hire a painter, schedule the job, and replant the flower bed and the facelift will be complete!!
