denver overnight...

recently i worked a three day trip that had me overnighting in denver both nights. the second day that i was there allowed for over twenty hours of play time, so i scheduled a little visit with chris and taylor. i told them that i didn't care what we did as long as it was something new to them, as they are moving out of the area in a few weeks. i arrived right on time and was greeted at the hotel by their smiling faces and big bear hugs. after quickly changing out of my fashionable uniform we headed to Dave and Buster's for some arcade games and dinner. i never ever thought that i would laugh so hard, be so competitive, or enjoy myself quite as much as i did. thanks to chris, we each had ten dollars worth of free credits to play with and we were able to win (or i should say taylor won) enough tickets to exchange for three pint glasses and a few decks of cards.


in celebration of our big win we enjoyed a nice dinner of appetizers and fancy foo-foo drinks...and even got to sing happy birthday to chris when they brought out a candle lit birthday brownie! once we had enough of D & B's we headed back to my hotel where chris and taylor enjoyed being "stewardesses" and partook in beer/wine deals only given to airline employees. chris schooled taylor and i in a game of pool and we wrapped up the evening with a little more talk and laughter. thanks again for the great time!!
