the time has come for flat stanley to start his journey home.
he's been away from wisconsin for such a long time now,
there is much to tell gavin and his 3rd grade class.
as we packed his bags,
flat stanley reminisced about out all the things
he got to do while he visited us:
drove to flagstaff, az to get out of the desert heat
tried his very first burrito
hiked a mountain and played frisbee golf
went to a college football game
visited the dentist and got a new smile
traveled around the country on an airplane for three days!
flew across the pacific ocean
surfed for the first time in hawaii
and...

celebrated his last night in arizona with a 7-11 slurpee.

I know that it's time for Flat Stanley to come home...but I'm sure going to miss these stories!
