flat stanley goes on vacation...

after dinner one evening,
flat stanley expressed his thanks
for letting him come to work with us.
he said he learned a lot about dental hygiene
and about being a flight attendant.

we were happy to hear that he was having a good time,
and let him know that his stay with us and his adventures
were far from over.

now that flat stanley saw how we worked,
we wanted to show him how we had fun...

so we took him on vacation to
HAWAII!

enjoying lunch half way through the six hour flight.

we stopped for breakfast on the way to the beach the next morning.

flat stanley checks out the waves on the beach,
very excited to try out his new surf board.

tired, but happy, flat stanley takes a break in the sand
before heading back out into the surf.

flat stanley visits the dole pineapple plantation,
gets to see how pineapples are grown, and trys a chocolate covered slice of pineapple.
his trip was complete once he got a picture as a ukulele playing pineapple.

sitting between grandpa and grandma on the way back to the airport,
after an afternoon aboard the USS Missouri at pearl harbor.

we were all a little sad that the vacation was over,
but after spending a whole week on the island of oahu
it was time to go back home.
