the six month project...

sometimes it takes us a little bit longer to complete a project than the average joe. our longest running project, for example, took about three years to finish. it's not that we don't give ourselves a deadline either, because we usually do. it's just that life gets in the way and the deadline gets pushed back and back and well you get the idea.

the main bathroom remodel deadline was the end of march, just in time for the maurer's visit. however, much to our surprise, we actually completed the majority of the work by mid-january. the tile was up, the tub worked, the toilet was installed, the sink was plumbed. the bathroom was fully functional and we were ahead of schedule!

the very last project left to complete was ordering, painting, and attaching the linen closet doors. and naturally since the bathroom was functional without the doors, the project pretty much fell to the way side. until today...
