big wheel keep on turning...

gambling is not my thing. i know it's fun for some people, but i think i've lost too many times to consider it a thrill. i will occasionally play slot machines, but believe me when i tell you that my betting max is five dollars. once that's depleted i am reminded again why i don't gamble. i. hate. losing. then there's always the guilt that follows and i think about how i could have better spent that hard earned cash.

with that said, i do have a itty bitty weakness and it comes in the form of a wheel. located in the las vegas airport, there is a giant Wheel of Fortune slot machine called the Super Spin. usually in uniform and therefore unable to gamble, i have eyed the big wheel for years. however, yesterday we were stuck in the airport for hours waiting for a flight home and an opportunity presented itself.

only a dollar fifty was invested before getting a chance to spin...


and it resulted in a fifty dollar WIN!!
