the reason we tolerate living in phoenix in the summer is because of the sweet weather we get to enjoy now. i spent most of the afternoon pruning the plants around the yard. i was amazed that most of them survived the wickedly hot summer. granted the plants that survived were planted by the previous homeowner, sheryl. all the plants i bought and planted have since died. i could have sworn i had a green thumb. i blame the nursery that sold me everything. there's something to be said about a label that reads "full sun" and the rays that fall upon phoenix in the summertime.
i hope everyone is enjoying autumn...or should i say winter?? ha ha!
