internet shopping: the wave of the present?...

• got new running shoes yesterday.
• went to a specific running store.
• had an employee spend about thirty minutes helping me find the best shoes for my feet. (my feet, by the way, have the highest arches he's ever seen. i told him to meet my mother.)
• bought the shoes. about one hundred dollars poorer and a little sad that i have no spare cash for the new jeans i wanted.
• went home and researched the new shoes i just bought.
• found them for thirty dollars cheaper, no tax, no shipping, delivered in two days.
• today i returned the shoes bought at the store.
