caryn and kate arrived at ten thirty yesterday morning. the flight was fairly uneventful...except that caryn swears she was sitting next to a germ-a-phobe. (she'd have to tell you that story.) although kate wasn't able to experience the window seat she had an awesome first flight. they were even lucky enough to have some funny flight attendants.
after the home tour we enjoyed a pancake, bacon, and fruit breakfast. a little later we were off to the grocery store to get supplies for the week. a small detour took us to a few clothing shops nearby and kate and caryn were fortunate enough to find new bathing suits. when we returned home we enjoyed an afternoon in the pool and played a few card games on the patio. by seven pm the girls were EXHAUSTED but i forced them to eat a spaghetti dinner. ah the first day of traveling!
today is a new day and although it is eleven thirty in wisconsin, caryn is still snoring away. kate and i are about to wake her up and start the day. i think a baseball game is on the list of things to do later on. should be a great little vacation for them!
