the girls are gone and i am so sad. :(we left a little earlier than we needed to this morning so that we could visit dunkin donuts on the way to the airport. yea munkins!! i decided to park in the parking garage and escort them through security rather than just dropping them off. caryn was impressed that we could squeeze ahead of the long line of people. ah, connections! they were issued boarding passes right away and we actually stood in line so that they could score seats together and possibly a window seat.
the flight left a bit late but they have called me and to let me know that they arrived in chicago safe and sound. they were excited to start their adventure with the el and amtrak. ohhh trains!
i have stayed busy this morning cleaning the house and catching up on laundry. i am now headed to the gym to get some mileage under my belt. but that information is really for a different blog...
