rock climbing...

we had some rainy weather in phoenix today so we decided try out an indoor rock climbing gym. neither of us had ever tried rock climbing before but figured that we had nothing to lose. can you believe that all we had to do was watch a five minute safety video and they let us go right to the wall??!!

we learned that with this sport you really have to trust your partner. it was truly amazing how fearful one can get when you're so high up with only a tiny rope and faith as a guide down.

believe us, even though it looked easy, after a few runs our muscles were telling us otherwise. we had such a good time and can't wait to go back!! this will definitely be on the To Do List for future visitors. we wish we would have found it sooner!
