spring is upon us...and by us i mean me.
i returned home from the snowy midwest to find my daffodils all abloom. can you believe that i already have flowers blooming?? my trees are also starting to bud, patches of my lawn are turning green, and my roses are about to open. ah, spring!
i spent today preparing my yard for further springiness. i raked and mowed the lawn, i trimmed away the dead foliage, fertilized and watered all of my plants, and hung up my hummingbird feeder with fresh nectar. what a joy to be outside in the warm weather!
sadly, only too soon summer will be here. and then those of you that are currently standing in knee high snow will be snickering at me. oh well, until then "snicker snicker".

Yes, a few days ago I laid outside in my hammock and read. . . . awww, the beautiful spring. I'm enjoying it while it lasts!
