no, we are not getting a dog...cat...or any animal. why then, the sudden need for the doggie door? well, to let myself in when i lock myself out of course.
this is now the second time i have locked myself in our backyard. the first time was over a year ago and to regain access to the house i crawled through our doggie door. today, just now, i could not avoid embarrassment. i had to call matt at work and tell him that i was once again locked out of our home. unable to leave work, he sent his assistant over to let me out...how humbling it was to be let into your own home by someone else!
number one on my to do list: make key and hide it in backyard.

No such luck. Can't really see you with a cat either. Time to get a hide-a-key or a giant plastic rock from skymall to hide the key under!
Or when you go on a run, you could automatically throw your key in your sports bra . . It's not just for money anymore!
