i go bowling?...

while home for the holiday party earlier in december, catherine had asked matt and i to sleep over at her house. we already had sleeping arrangements though, so i promised her that i would come over with aunt laurie at the end of the month to fulfill the invitation.

lauren and i arrived early monday afternoon to a girl READY for a sleepover. she had plenty of games picked out to keep us busy all night long! we played a couple board games, put together a puzzle, and had a few wii competitions. after a great pizza dinner we surprised the kids with a trip to the bowling alley. who knew they'd love it so much??

once we got back home catherine's real excitement for the sleepover was announced: plans to sleep on the air mattress between her two aunts. oh, cozy!! being that it was only a double bed i opted to sleep in her bed and let her snuggle with aunt laurie alone. thanks laurie!! the next morning i made catherine special mickey mouse pancakes. (i made them for liam too but he refused to eat them. boo!)
