if it's not one thing it's another...

we had big plans and high hopes for the main bathroom to be ninety-nine percent finished this weekend. those plans quickly fizzled however when matt cut into the wall to install the new electrical box for our light and found a VERY old electrical box. a bigger hole was made and the old electrical box was removed, but we found strange extra wires in the process. they ended up leading to literally nothing, but unfortunately it took a whole afternoon to figure that out! you gotta love old houses!!

we did manage to install the faucet and shower curtain rod though before the lighting mishap so thankfully our main bathroom is functional in all the important areas (as long as you're not afraid of the dark!!).
