i am quite sure this is a hummingbird feeder and not a honey bee feeder.
the other day we had a nice infestation of honey bees drinking sugar water,
and a group of hummingbirds that were less than thrilled about sharing it.
so to play it safe, we removed the food source to rid our backyard of bees.
unfortunately we now have some very angry hummingbirds,
and a bunch of confused hungry bees.
free meals come with consequences. who knew?!
