kate arrived in arizona last sunday for her annual visit. when asked what she wanted to do while she was here, her list was short but definite: 1. get a donut at dunkin donuts, 2. hike camelback mountain, & 3. have a good time. done, done, and done. i like company that knows what they want!!
the weather has been cool and a bit rainy so we have had to plan our days around it. none the less we were able to get a full day of yard work in and treated ourselves to a full day of shopping as a reward. yesterday matt got off of work a bit early and was able to join us on our big hike up the tail trail of Camelback Mountain (we hiked the head trail together last year). perhaps next year we will go up one side and come down the other! the rest of our time has been spent conquering SuperMarioBrothers on wii, practicing our yoga, eating ice cream, and doing exactly what kate wanted: having a good time.
