i was always a big fan of show-and-tell in kindergarten. every friday we were allowed to bring in something special. we would each get a few minutes to brag and proudly display the item we so dearly loved. usually it was a stuffed animal, a picture, or perhaps a new birthday gift. oohs and aahs and some applause would usually follow, while the owner would blush and smile from ear to ear with pride.
well this friday will be no different as we relive those glorious show-and-tell kindergarten days with the news of our baby.
our announcement comes a bit earlier than planned as we originally weren't expecting to see family until june. and although matt believes that we should continue with our charade since my baby bump is no bigger than an over-indulged thanksgiving meal bump, i am no longer in the mood to keep this pregnancy a secret. i'm still not sure how we will break the news to everyone but you better believe i'll be smiling from ear to ear with pride when we do.
