bu-bye doggie door...

way back in october of two thousand and six i celebrated my twenty seventh birthday. i wanted a glass door for our back door; one of those practical kind of gifts that i can appreciate all day long. after much researching, matt could not find a glass door without it being custom ordered and VERY pricey. after relaying our story to my dad, he came up with a solution...use your current door and put a piece of glass in it. ah ha!! yesterday (october eighth, o-seven) i FINALLY received my birthday present. here is the progression of old door to new door...

doesn't the d man do nice work? and pretty cheap, too...usually a good meal and a beer or two will get you what you need! Spoken from experience!

I think I should start stockpiling and give Dad a nice 6 pack and bucket of KFC every time I come home (about once a year).
