home and yard decor...

i finally got around to taking a picture of our two tone den. last night we hung some shelves (we had gotten them for our wedding) and as you can see i am not quite done decorating. some of you requested a shot of the den's progress though, so here it is.


today i caught the city chopping down some our tree's branches that were entangled in the power lines. i had called them in early october and was beginning to believe that they had forgotten. i had to run out the door right when they arrived and unfortunately i didn't get to watch all the action. i wish i would have been here though because they didn't do a very 'pretty' job...i was warned that that might happen.
