it wasn't so bad. right?...

i went to my check up with the periodontist today. he told me two things. my surgery site was healing magnificently, but i needed to keep the stitches in until after thanksgiving. that was all fine and dandy, but do you remember when i said that i was going to remove the hubba bubba patch? well, i did on sunday night and by tuesday evening the stitches had become annoying and painful. the loose ends scratched my lip every time i would talk or eat and created a very lovely hole where the irritation took place. so i did what any annoyed person would do, i had him put the patch back on. smiling is overrated anyway...pain free is the way to go.
