portland adventures...

last week mom and i met up in portland, oregon for three days of sight seeing and adventure. we began with sunny skies and seventy degrees and ended with clouds and fifties. cooler weather didn't stop us from enjoying our visit though. we went to the japanese gardens, the pittock mansion, the pearl district, attended festivities for cinco de mayo, and even ate at a haunted pizza parlor. we had a great time using their convenient public transportation and stayed in a beautiful hotel overlooking the waterfront (thanks matt!). it was such a successful trip that we can't wait to plan another get away! thanks mom for the memories!

Hi Megan! I'm getting through your blog but wanted to comment on this because I LOVE Portland. Their public transportation is great and I also went to the Japanese Garden (the Chinese one is pretty neat too), the Pearl District and the haunted pizza place. I can't wait to go back!
